Ever wondered about the practical implications of using optimistic locking in a process engine like Camunda 7? Explore the impacts on process execution and discover the intriguing dynamics, especially when messages arrive concurrently. Also, asynchronous continuations play a role, sometimes alleviating issues, while in other scenarios, they can (perhaps surprisingly) worsen the situation.
